  • Education Hospital of Muhammadiyah Malang University is one of the profit centers owned by the University of Muhammadiyah Malang which focuses on providing health services and as a learning center. UMM Hospital Pharmacy has a problem in the queue that occurs. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimization of service facilities owned by UMM Hospital Pharmacy. The data used are service time data and the number of customer arrivals. Data is processed using M / M / 1 (Single Channel Multi Phase) queuing model. Based on the results of the study note that the prescription fee calculation facility as many as 5 patients can not be served within an hour, prescription payment facilities as many as 5 patients and the preparation and / or compounding of the drug as many as 4 patients can not be served, the problem is caused by overcapacity resulting in several the patient cannot be served within one hour, so the waiting time required by the patient is longer.
