- The weaknesses of the electric canting on the market are The overflow of batik wax at the end of the line and control heat temperature is still a regulator knob. Another weakness is that the operation still relies on the skill and ability of batik craftsmen to estimate the temperature. The use of this Canting in the plotter machine causes a lot of liquid wax in the image. The purposes of this research is to produce a design and product of batik canting that can be applied on plotter machine, with smooth and accurate images, minimal overflow and the right of the wax liquid. The method in this design is Pahl & Beitz. The product is made and tested on a batik plotter machine. Batik canting produced has a tube capacity of 34 cm3, using an Arduino UNO microcontroller, infrared temperature sensor MLX90614, heating element of cable type, DC fan cooler, LCD 16x2 monitor module and I2C module. Canting is able to provide the right temperature to flow the wax liquid as needed. Canting is also able to be used on batik plotter machine, without excessivve overflow of liquid wax at the end of the batik pattern line.
