  • This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of self-efficacy on employee performance with the response to change as a mediating variable. The data used are primary data. The population used was 64 non-medical employees of UMM Hospital. The sample collection technique uses the saturation sampling method. The instrument testing uses validity and reliability tests. Data analysis tools used are scale range and path analysis. Hypothesis testing uses the t test and the sobel test. The results of the scale range analysis show high self-efficacy, good response changes, and high performance. The path analysis results state that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on performance. Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on changing responses. The response to change has a positive and significant effect on performance. Self-efficacy has a significant effect on performance through responses to change. Suggestions for companies are expected to increase employee confidence.
