- Parking facilities are inseparable parts of any transportation system, and land transportation is also not excluded, parking facilities at the kliwon market in the holy district have parking facilities that can accommodate the supply and demand for parking spaces, but not for the next 5 years . Therefore, this study aims to determine the characteristics of vehicle parking, especially parking on the kliwon market. The method applied in this study is to conduct direct surveys in the field. From the vehicle data, analysis is carried out to get accumulation, duration, parking volume, and parking turnover and parking index. The results of the analysis obtained parking characteristics for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles have the highest accumulated parking of 81 vehicles for cars and 223 vehicles for motorcycles, parking duration ranges from 1-120 minutes, highest parking volume of 373 vehicles and 857 vehicles, turnover rate parking averages 0.88 cars / parking lots and 0.71 motorcycles / parking lots, and parking indexes of 88.4% and 105%. And for the SRP the number is 35 for the front parking of the car, 130 for parking beside the car, and 100 for parking the motorbike. Judging from the characteristics of parking, parking of vehicles on the Kliwon market for the next 5 years cannot accommodate requests.
