- The aim of this study was to fnd out the right time in taking position with Stochastic Oscillator indicator of currency trasactions specifically on Poundsterling against US Dollar (GBP/USD) August 2019 period. This study uses qualitative descriptive approach. The data used is transaction data of Poundsterling against US Dollar (GBP/USD) in August 2019 with the help of software MetaTrader5. The result of this study indicate that if %K has entered line border 20 and below 20 for oversold was the right time to taking buy position and if %K has entered line border 80 and above 80 for overbought was the right time to taking sell position. The result of use Stochastic Oscillator indicator in August 2019 indicate there are 8 signals. Buy signal 4 times and sell signal 4 times.
