  • The lack of using media in Javanese learning caused the students to be less active in learning. Media that are often used at MI Raudlatun Nasyiin are printed media in the form of Javanese textbooks, worksheets and textbooks as a support for learning, because the teacher considered this to be a practical and efficient way. Therefore, it was necessary to have a media that was suitable with the characteristics of students at this time, namely learning used support in the form of learning media based on monopoly games. This study aimed to find out how the product development and student responses to the Javanese Script Monopoly (MONAWA) media on Javanese Script Material at Class III Elementary Schools. The study activities was used ADDIE development model that was carried out by researcher. This model has 5 stages namely, (1) Analize, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. The first stage, Analize aimed to determine the needs analysis in the learning process and gather various information relating to the media to be developed. The second, designing the results of the analysis were in accordance with the needs and characteristics of students. The third, media development or the realization of the design were in accordance with the analysis needs. The fourth, the application of media that has been made. The last, the evaluation of the media was in accordance with the suggestions and input validation of media experts and material experts. The results showed that the Javanese Script Monopoly media was very good percentage criteria, it can be seen from the percentage produced by the validation of the material experts was very feasible and the media experts were very feasible. While, the percentage of student response rates was very good. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Javanese Script Monopoly media can be used as a support for Javanese learning media for third grade students at MI Raudlatun Nasyiin. The development of the Javanese Script Monopoly Media (MONAWA) can be referred to as the development of creativity, which had already existed before. The Javanese script monopoly media was taken from a combination of monopoly games in general that combined with Javanese script letters.
