- Since the promulgation of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, the Government, Provincial Governments, and Regency / Municipal Governments can conduct Village Arrangement implemented by the Village Government. Village Head is a Village Government official who has the authority, duties and obligations to run the village household and carry out the duties of the Government and Regional Government. The formulation of the problem in this research is, how is the implementation of the village head's authority in coordinating village development in a participatory manner and what are the inhibiting and supporting factors that influence the implementation of the village head's authority in coordinating participatory village development. Which aims to find out and assess the implementation of the authority of the Village Head in coordinating village development in a participatory manner and assessing the inhibiting and supporting factors. In this study using a sociological juridical approach. The data used in this study are primary, secondary and tertiary data. Analysis of qualitative descriptions, research into in-depth writing about the problem under study. Based on the results of research and discussion shows that the implementation of the authority of the Village Head in coordinating participatory village development in the Village of Mulyoagung and the Village of Selorejo was quite maximal. The Village Head is assisted by community institutions such as RT and RW to urge the village community to participate and participate in village development, while the supporting factor in coordinating village development is the participation of the local village community, while the inhibiting factor in coordinating village development is more on the budget received village because often there are unexpected things that happen and require taking budgeted village fund budget that year. Therefore it is necessary to increase cooperation between the Village Head and the community components and institutions in Mulyoagung and Selorejo Villages for better participatory village development and must better regulate village budget expenditures that go in for unexpected purposes so as not to interfere with the needs in the development of other villages.
