There are many ways to calculate them, either with theoretics calculation or using a manual test tool. In this final task have a purpose to get a system of strain gauge censor in an experimental device to measure tensile strain and tensile stress with data acquisition systems using National Instrumen cDAQ 9172 and module card National Instrumen type 9219. Strain gauge censor is installed on the surface of the test metal (brass) with a series of half bridge at the wheatstone bridge configuration. The test is doing with some variations of load, start from 400gr,800gr,1200gr and 1600gr to get the value of strain. Measurement output data is shown using the measurement graph then exported to Ms.excel to get the value of strain.
