- The existence of a strategy is one of the ways or actions taken by legislative candidates to obtain victory. Legislative elections can not be separated from the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation so that efforts to persuade the voting community must continue to be done, so that in the end provide support for voting to vote. With so many millennials being promoted by the Democratic National Party (NASDEM), they believe in the energy of young people, and millennial generation candidates are part of a regeneration strategy. The sooner they become involved in practical politics, the better. The hope, they bring a fresh atmosphere in politics. Because if the millennial generation that they are stretching wins in the Legislative Election, it's easier for the Democratic National Party (NASDEM) in other general elections The research method used is descriptive research that seeks to find facts and data related to Nasdem's party strategy in the acquisition of millennial generation votes in the 2019 legislative election with data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This study intends to explain how the Democratic National Party's strategy in the acquisition of millennial generation in the 2019 legislative elections in Sampang Regency. Based on the results of field research, a number of strategies were carried out by the Nasdem party to win the 2019 Pileg seat in Sampang district, which included (factor O250) recruiting members, seeing legislative candidates, DPD conducting early nominations, moving Party machines, namely Party cadres and Party success teams. Nasdem, Socialization activities, political communication, and mass media. In addition, several obstacles were also felt by the Nasdem party in the 2019 legislative election in Sampang, which included voter and financial behavior problems, competition from political party leaders, the many new political parties participating in the competition, the successful team that socialized the lack of control over the field.
