- This study aims to determine whether working capital in the cement industry companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange is optimal or not optimal. The sampling method using purposive sampling and obtained a sample of four companies. The method used in this study is the growth method for estimating sales and estimating working capital, working capital turnover to find out the optimal working capital with a tolerance level of 2.5% for the lower and upper limits as well as paying attention to the rotation elements forming working capital. Based on the results of data analysis conducted on working capital in 2019 and 2020, the result show is not optimal. The company needs to increase or decrease its working capital by its optimal working capital needs.
