- Many products that are needed insupporting the education of mechanical engineering mode from abrod. One such product in the strain and stress experiment used in the study of material strength mechanic. Unfortunately this product is mode on average from abroad and nothing is made in the country. This study aims to replace the imported products. The experiment consist of a supporting structure in the from of a hinge roller support, along with a data acquisition system. The data that can be obtained trough the acquisition system is the fulcrum reaction on the rod voltage on the other hand, measurement using a strain and voltage on the beam that has strengthened with a series of strain gauge systems that are controlled using arduino uno. The criteria for a strain gauge system from an aconomic standpoint are to make it inexpensive to remain reliable in its performance the design used part of the method phal – Beitz, in this stage what is being tested is the measurement of strain and stress reactions in the beam. The results obtained show good compability.
