- Kartika Mutiara Community is a community that cares for children with disabilities which launched on January 27, 2018 in District Pakisaji, Malang Regency. This community has changed the lives of children both in terms of self-development and socialization matter. So this research is necessary to describe the family's social support for the disability social service community named Kartika Mutiara. The purpose of this research is to determine the form of Kartika Mutiara Community social service for children with special needs and social support given by family for Kartika Mutiara Community. This research is a descriptive type of research with qualitative approach. It uses purposive method while in this method uses a designed subject taking technique in accordance to the research requirements. Data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and draw conclusion. The results of research obtained a form of social services given by Kartika Mutiara Community. It’s a social support that they give for children with special needs, such as emotional support, appreciation support, and instrumental support and also there’s a social support by family for Kartika Mutiara Community, for example emotional support, instrumental support, network support, and appreciation support.
