  • In industrial world, especially in sector of building construction, every building project often uses a crane in the process of lifting and transporting the materials. Building process will be obstructed when the crane has damage. This study uses RCM (Reability Centered Maintenance) method as a solution for maintenance so that it can reduce downtime and frequency of damage. Determine the priority components based on the highest frequency, then do data processing with RCM and then do the optimal interval calculation for component replacement. The results of this study is analyze maintenance actions, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), categorize the components is based on LTA (Logic Tree Analysis), maintenance procedures are based on RCM actions and evaluation of actual and proposed maintenance systems. According to the design of maintenance with RCM method, that was found the replacement of optimal component there were hoist on day 5th, slewing on day 37th, and trolley on day 27th.
