- The thesis entitled "The View of Sepangkur Besar community leaders about early childhood marriage" is the result of field research to answer the question of how the view of the community figure in the big Sepangkur Island of Madura to the wedding Early age and the minimum age limitation of marriage as determined by law as well as how to analyze Islamic law on the view of public figures on early childhood marriages and the minimum age limitation of marriage as determined by law. Here the compiler uses a descriptive-qualitative research method, the data needed in the study was gathered with the interview technique, after the collected data was then analyzed with the Islamic law. The results of this study concluded that the views of the community leaders in Pulau Sepangkur Besar on early childhood marriage and the age limit of the marriage stipulated by the law vary, in this case categorized into two groups, First, the group agrees with the marriage of early childhood with the evidence that the minimum age of marriage is not the foundation of both the Qur'an and hadith. Secondly, groups that disagree with the early childhood marriage are those who argue according to the Nash but agree with the minimum age of marriage restriction set by the Government on the condition not to be used as the valid condition Wedding.
