  • Strain Gauge Sensor is a tool to measure deflection and stress. In this design, 4 strain gauge sensors were installed on a brass rod wheatstone full bridge. Each strain gauge sensor has resistance (R) value of 350Ω. A strain gauge sensor was used in the design of this measurement system with an INA125 amplifier which is then processed by Arduino to produce data that will be displayed directly on the LCD and serial monitor on a PC by using radio frequency in real time. The output data was generated in measurements by using a full bridge strain gauge sensor were BIT (Binary Digit) data. The BIT data was then converted to volt data and proceed into strain. The load 398, 801, 1204, 1608 grams were applied. The processing of experimental stress data under loading conditions of 398 grams produced stress of 3032400 Pa. The stress was proportional to the amount of loading. At the highest loading 1608 grams, the stress was 31465350 Pa. The results of stress measurements were compared with the theoritical approach.
