  • Today many children experience deviations from values and norms, so special institutions are needed to handle the child's problems, such as the Child Protection Institute. This study aims to determine the model of services provided by the Malang City Child Protection Institute and involve participation from families. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data validity technique uses an internal validity (credibility) test, which is triangulation. The results of this study explain the Child Protection Institute provides services to children dealing with the law in the form of social assistance services, providing counseling and further coaching services. In addition, the Child Protection Institute also has programs, each of which does not only involve children but also involves family participation, both services and programs provided by the Child Protection Institute can be well received by children and their families. In addition, the programs provided by the Child Protection Agency have a positive impact, namely that children are more confident and can develop.
