- The importance of people's intelligence in media. The sophistication of the media today, potentially to cause a shift behivior in society. The openness of information on online media, is not comparable to people’s intelligence to analyze the data and verify an information from media. Therefore, people need to be equipped by knowledge about digital literacy in order to filter the information and be a fact-checker. In this study, the researchers discussed about AJI Malang's activities in carrying out digital literacy about fact-checking learning programs by providing technical material about hoax busting and digital hygiene. In this research, researcher used the S-M-C-R model (Source, Message, Channel, Receiver) proposed by David K. Berlo. The research method used is A qualitative approach with descriptive type and basic naturalistic research. The data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data collection process was carried out by interviewing 5 research subjects. The results of this study indicated that there are sources or communicators from AJI by conveying the message that AJI has a fact-checking learning program that is communicated through channels in the form of face-to-face communication by held an Half Day Basic Workshop “Hoax Busting and Digital Hygiene” that addressed to the recipients or communicants as the workshop participants.
