- Currently the application of try out method is being the main choice of every educational institution both at the elementary school level even up to the upper secondary level, because the try out will be presented exam questions that have become predictions in the real test so that it is considered capable and more effective in supporting and supporting preparation of students. The try out system that is being implemented in schools today is by using paper media as a test in general. Thus the school must spend to print out a try out sheet for all students who will carry out the exam. And try out not only done one or two times of course degan the circumstances that the cost of school expenditure is greater. The problem can be resolved if the school has an application in which there is a system whose function and purpose is the same as doing try out conventionally but in the form of application. One solution is to build and implement responsive web-based try out applications using codeigniter framework that can run on all web browsers regardless of the operating system. This web based application will be accessible by students who will carry out try out. This application is safe from cheating students because it will use the method of randomization in the presentation of the problem so that students will get different questions.
