Daftar Isi:
- Greenhouse gas (GHG) issues such as CO2 are increasingly caused by companies, and vehicles that produce carbon dioxide gases (CO2). Mangrove in Lembung Village, Galis Sub District, Pamekasan Regency has a problem such as logging mangrove trees because of the use of firewood, expansion of salt land, and the place of the community boats so that the mangrove ecosystem is damaged. Damage to the mangrove ecosystem can cause the storage of mangrove carbon and carbon dioxide uptake to decrease until greenhouse gas emissions are increased. Research objectives are to suspect carbon deposits (C), and uptake of carbon disoxide (CO2) on mangrove vegetation in Lembung Village, Galis Sub District, Pamekasan Regency. The research was conducted in May – June 2019 mangrove located in Lembung Village, Galis Sub-district, Pamekasan Regency. The data retrieval method used is sampling using purposive sampling or goal-based data retrieval. Data analysis uses the equations of mangrove alometrics, carbon estimation, and absorption of CO2. Methods of presenting data using quantitative descriptive with literature study. The results of mangrove research that has the highest content of biomass, carbon reserves, and absorption of carbon that is in the type of R. Stylosa Griff namely with the value of biomass 50.42 tons/ha, carbon reserves 23.70 tons/ha, and absorption of CO2 by 86.97 tons/ha. Total carbon deposits on mangrove stands of 34.21 ton/ha still including low category. While the total uptake of carbon dioxide mangrove amounted to 125.55 tons/ha The result of CO2 uptake of all mangrove types has already shown a good category in the absorption of carbon dioxide.
