- One of the goals of the company is to maximize the value of the company. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of dividend policy and profitability on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2018. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2017-2018. This research sample uses purposive sampling method. This study uses 51 manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange. The type of data used is secondary data from company reports that have been officially published on the IDX. The results of this study indicate: dividend policy partially does not affect the value of the company, while profitability partially affects the value of the company. The coefficient of determination shows that dividend policy and profitability simultaneously influence the company's value of 63.3% and the remaining 36.7% is explained by other variables not detected by this study.
