  • This study is to see the government's efforts to maintain the existence of urban agriculture and the addition of aspects of community income from the impact of the conversion of agricultural land in Malang, which in 2018 lived in 821 hectares of 1.300 hectares in 2011. The effort was carried out through the Sustainable Food Home Area program (SFPA). Cemara Hijau Farm Women Farmer Group (WFG) in Karangbesuki Village is one of the community groups receiving KRPL program assistance in Malang City. Regarding the selection of the group as an object of research, due to the high number of women in Malang who work in the domestic sector as housewives, namely 122.571 in 2015 and increased to 131.413 in 2018. In addition, there is a lack of inclusion of women in a community development program. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive analysis, while the data collection techniques use the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. This research uses the process of the concept of Wilson empowerment which includes awakening, understanding, harnessing, and using. The results of the study showed that on the vegetable panpan activity SFPA program conducted by WFG Cemara Hijau Farm the average was 25 to 40 Kg. These vegetables are sold in packages at 5.000 and 7.000 rupiah, and are sold at 12.000/Kg. From the aspect of marketing in one month WFG has earned income ranging from 1.000.000 to 2.500.000 rupiah. The income is used to provide salaries of 5.000 rupiah/day to WFG members who actively manage the SFPA. WFG active members are 8 people, the active members at least earn incomes ranging from 250.000 to 350.000 rupiah/month. In addition, WFG members also get a vegetable ration for consumption. These vegetables are vegetables that are set aside from the results of harvesting activities carried out, with an average set aside is 2 to 5 Kg. The empowerment activity in the SFPA program in Karangbesuki Urban Village has a conclusion that the WFG Cemara Hijau Farm has been empowered so that it can be said to be successful. The results of this empowerment can be seen that WFG has been able to support the economic activities of their families with the income earned, reduce the cost of spending on daily basic needs, and the fulfillment of aspects of food needs for WFG members.
