- Background: Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It Is a bacilli bacterium that is very strong so it takes a long time to treat it. Tuberculosis treatment is given in an intensive and advanced stage. A factor that can determine success in the treatment of tuberculosis is patient adherence in undergoing therapy. Research Objectives: To determine the relationship attitude of pulmonary tuberculosis patients toward adherence on the use of anti-tuberculosis medicine in several health centers in the subdistrict of Sukun, Malang city. Method: This research applied observational analytic with the cross-sectional approach, by giving questionnaires to 60 respondents who met the inclusion criteria in April 2019 in several health centers in the subdistrict sukun of Malang city. The research survey data will be researched about the attitudes of pulmonary tuberculosis patients and adherence on the use of anti-tuberculosis medication. Results and Conclusions Based on the results of the study, that patients have a positive attitude with a percentage of 42%, who had a negative attitude as much as 58%. Patients have compliance with the high category by 73% and the moderate category by 27%. Analysis using chi-square with p-value = 0.693, so it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the attitude of pulmonary TB patients with adherence the use of anti-tuberculosis drugs (OAT) in several health center in the subdistrict sukun, Malang city.
