- Based on the analysis of needs stated that SDN Ciptomulyo 3 Malang has never used multimedia-based media, so researchers want to know the learning outcomes of students as well as to know the effectiveness of multimedia-based media. This research is a research that develops a learning media that is "Macromedia Flash". which is used for the theme 8 subtheme 2 learning 1 in class V Elementary School. The product trial implementation was carried out at SDN Ciptomulyo 3 Malang. This Macromedia Flash media research aims to (1) find out the process of developing Macromedia Flash media (2) find out the effectiveness of Macromedia Flash media. Macromedia Flash media research uses this type of R&D (Research and Development) research using ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The subjects in this study that were used as data sources were students of class V SDN Ciptomulyo 3 Malang, 2019/2020 school year with a total of 37 students. The data sources will be processed into two types, namely quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data is used to process numbers that determine the effectiveness and validity of the media, while qualitative data is used to process descriptive tests in the form of suggestions/input from several validators to be concluded. Results of Macromedia Flash media development research (1) Macromedia Flash media development before it is implemented to students is validated to two validators, namely material expert validation and media expert validation to see the feasibility of Macromedia Flash media used in the learning process. The results of the validation of the material experts get a percentage of 77.6% with the category "Valid Enough", while the results of the validation of the media experts get a percentage of 91.3% with the category "Very Valid". (2) The effectiveness of Macromedia Flash media shows a change in learning outcomes before using media after using Macromedia Flash media. This is evidenced through the pretest and posttest tests. Pretest results obtained by students get an average value of 49.72 while the posttest results get an average value of 76.21. The change in the average value can be stated that the Macromedia Flash media is effectively used in the learning process. Through the results of this study, Macromedia Flash media is suggested as a tool/support in the learning process in the hope that it can support the learning success of students in primary schools.
