- Ferns or Pteridophyta are very diverse and have many benefits. Tumbuhan paku are also included in 2013 curriculum at the high school. Many high school students are difficult to recognize ferns. Therefore the Android based learning media is needed. Because of the technological advances now smartphones have been widely used by students, so it would be good if this smartphone can be used for learning media. The research method used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This android based learning media will be developed with Augmented Reality Technology. The results of the material expert validation of 73.33% can be categorized quite well, while the results of the media expert validation of 85% can be categorized as valid. Student test results also showed a percentage of 85% and categorized valid.
