- App dictionary the term informatics is a system app through android platform used the user or the user dictionary information to do a search vocabulary without having to bring a book dictionary, where this app can help the user to search the vocabulary that is presented through the display of the android platform, in order to facilitate the search process vocabulary so that it can improve the productivity of service dictionary of informatics. In this study the authors design and build a dictionary application of the term informatics in android using the waterfall method, this application uses algorithm of Boyer-Moore using java. Results the number of words the term informatics are sought by using the method of Boyer-Moore based on the keywords tools contained in the database with a percentage accuracy of 100%. Based on the results of testing the system using blacbox, this application can be run with better functional system and can produce the expected output. It can be concluded that this application has been in accordance with the main purpose of making the application.
