- This study examines effort to improve the social welfare of the Malang Save Street Child Community towards street children in the Muharto area, Malang City. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts made by the Malang Save Street Child Community in improving the social welfare of street children in the field of education in street children in Muharto, Malang. This study used qualitative research methods with the type of descriptive research. Data collecting techniques used in this study were observation, interview, and documentation techniques. While the subjects in this study were the management of Malang Save Street Child Community in 2019-2020 and street children. The type used in determining the subject of this study is Purposive, which is a sampling technique with a predetermined consideration. The data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that in an effort to improve the social welfare of street children in the field of education, the Save Street Child Community in Malang gave direction and teaching to street children through joint learning programs (Jareng). In this case, the community has the role of educator, broker, and counselor. The SSCM community also provides opportunities for street children to return to school through the School for All program and meet all the needs of street children's schools. In addition, the community also gives attention (controling) to street children who have problems outside and inside of the school. In this case, the SSCM Community acts as an Advocator to solve the problems of street children.
