- This thesis to discuss about Saudi Arabia's perceptions influenced to the terminations of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Qatar in 2017.Saudi Arabia considers that Muslim Brotherhood is a threat to the national stability and security of Saudi Arabia, UEA, Bahrain, Yamen and Egypt and also Middle East regions. On June 5,2017 the 5 country made the decision to terminate diploamtic relations with Qatar. Which Caused the diplomatic crisis of Qatar. A thesis is using Preceptions theory by Jervis, in this theory Jervis talk that there are 3 things that bulit a perceptions Fi=rist is a view point, Valuations, and other actor's reaction. When a prerceptions of rational actor emerges, the actors will use the psycological mechanism to process all the informations till produce the decision. This reserach uses explanatory methods and library research techniques. the resuls obtained in this study are that Saudi arabia's assumption of Qatar is misperception. Baed on the analysis of the author using the perception theory by Jervis obtained beliefs, images and intentions, as well as psycological mechanism thjat include cognitive consistency, the evoked set and wishful thingking. it can be said that Saudi Arabia tends to regard IM as a threat so because Qatar helps the group Qatar become an enemy for Saudi Arabia, but for Qatar it doe not support IM but support democracy and IM the group that voices that. The existences of such misperseption then caused the termination of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
