This is a qualitative descriptive study which examined the primary data from the Criminal Investigation Division of Mataram Police Precinct. The finding indicated there were two types of implemented law enforcement, which were preventive and repressive. The effectiveness of such law enforcements had not been optimal due to the weak implementation of several supporting factors such as law, community, and the enforcement per se. The obstacles were the low number of public report, unsupporting rule of law, and government agency’s inability to reveal the greater network. The conclusion was that the law enforcement had not been effective due to the weak supporting factors of law enforcement such as law, community, and the enforcement per se. The author suggests the government agency to make more intense endeavors pertaining to the repressive and preventive types of law enforcement.
