- The reality found in the learning process in the field shows that learning media is an important component that is often overlooked. Utilization of classroom facilities that have been provided by SDN Blimbing 3 Malang have not been used optimally. Therefore, efforts are made to utilize more by looking at the components needed in the learning process such as learning media. This study aims to determine the process of developing Manaku Flash learning media on the theme of Cultural Diversity of My Nation for grade IV Elementary School students. This study uses the type of development research and uses the 4D development model. This model has 4 stages, including (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Disseminate. The first stage, define, aims to determine the needs in the learning process and gather information related to the media that will be developed. The second stage is design, which is the stage in designing the learning devices. The third stage is development, which is the stage that is used to complete the results of the product made through revision of the expert validation test. The fourth stage is disseminate, which is the stage of product distribution in limited manner. As a source of data, students of grade IV of SDN Blimbing 3 Malang were selected, amounting to 33 students. This study was conducted in September 2019. Data collection used in this study were interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study (1) Material validation resulted a percentage score of 88% with a very good predicate. (2) Media validation resulted a percentage score of 80% with a quite good predicate. (3) The results of the student response questionnaire resulted a percentage score of 96.5% with a very good predicate. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning media of Manaku Flash on the theme of Cultural Diversity of My Nation can be used as a support medium for learning media for grade IV Elementary School students.
