  • Virtual community is now a popular phenomenon as a result of the rapid development of information technology. Virtual communities are formed as a result of the birth of virtual space where human imagery has a new life above the real world. One of the virtual communities formed is K-pop Fandom (Korean Pop Fans Kingdom). K-pop fandom is formed on virtual space or the focus of this research is on social media Twitter, a large community that is free, not bound so anyone from anywhere can join in a fandom. So it is not surprising that the K-pop Fandom community is international in scale because anyone can join. The focus of this research is the International K-popers (K-pop Lovers) Communication Behavior that uses a pseudonym account that is a fan account from various countries where they keep their personal identity a secret, and that account is only devoted to the needs of fangirling or fanboying groups or their idol artists. . This research is a qualitative research with descriptive type in a virtual community that is International Online K-pop Fandom. Subject selection is done by accidental sampling. The theory used is the Theory of Technological Determinism. The results showed that technological developments provide messages and can shape subject behavior. Subjects learn about fan account culture through social media, then they create a fan account and interpret it as a medium for fangirling or fanboying. Fan accounts are intended as a medium for fangirling or fanboying so that the types of messages that are most often consumed, produced and distributed are related to the subject idol artist, although it does not rule out sometimes they also produce or access other types of information such as outpouring that is not related to K-pop , current global issues and so on. International K-pop fans are fans who come from all corners of the world so to produce the same meaning they use the international language that is English. Besides technology also changes human culture. Now fans can interact directly with idol artists and fandom friends from all corners of the world. Technology has changed human culture to be more flexible and dependent on technological sophistication. No need to meet face to face, all forms of interaction and behavior related to fangirling and fanboying activities can be done virtually. K-popers create more than one fan account that is devoted to several idol artists or groups. The goal is that the information obtained is more focused and so that they can play a role as a fan of a certain group completely without disturbing the timeline display of their mutual friends.
