- The simultaneous regional election in 2018 was one of the momentum of democratic party activities which was enough to attract public attention. Simultaneous regional election were followed by 171 regions consisting of 17 Provinces, 39 Cities, and 115 Regencies. One of regencies that carried out the simultaneous regional election was Sampang Regency with 3 candidate pairs, namely the pair Slamet Junaidi-Abdullah Hidayat (JIHAD), the Hermanto-Suparto (MANTAP), and the Hisan Abdullah (HISBULLAH). In the implementation of simultaneous regional elections it is not uncommon to cause regional conflict which ends in the trial of disputes at the Constitutional Court. Disputes occur because they are caused by several factors such as the incompatibility of the final voter list, cheating, multiple voter data, and other problem This study intends to explain the process of the re-elections of simultaneous regional election in Sampang Regency. The research method used is descriptive research that seeks to find facts and data related to the occurrence of repeated voting with the technique of collecting data by observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of research in the field, the cause of the Constitutional Court decision to order re-voting in Sampang Regency was due to a discrepancy between the number of residents and the number of permanent voter list. Comparison of the number of permanent voter lists with a population of 95% and 5%. It is known that the number of permanent voter list at the same time is 803.449 people, whle the number of permanent voter list in the voting is 767.032 people. The conclusion in this paper is that the Constitutional Court decided to hold a repeat voting in Sampang Regency by using thee DPT that was revised with a 60 day deadline following the Constitutional Court’s Decision.
