- Worship is expressive human communication with God. Seeing that church congregations have physical limitations that make diversity of expression. So that the quality of worship is something that must always be maintained by interpreting the expression and worship activities as human communication with God. The purpose of this research is to find what is the meaning of worship as transcendental communication in Christian worship. The research used is descriptive qualitative. Then the data collection techniques using interviews and observation. Meanwhile, the subjects in this study is church congregations at the Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia (GPdI) Maranatha Srengat. This research shows the results that worship is Christians feedback after receiving God's message through the Bible by positioning low to God. Worship element is performed with expressions that are interpreted with thanksgiving, praise to God, reading the Bible and preaching. While the prayer and holy communion aren't elements of worship because they have different content and meanings.
