  • In a wind power plant (PLTB) a permanent magnet generator is needed to generate electricity, one of which is an axial flux permanent magnet generator (GMPFA). In the permanent magnet generator axial flux the number of rotors and stators and the shape of the magnet used affect the characteristics of the designed generator. Therefore in this study 3 different designs were made, of which 2 designs used rectangular magnetic shapes and 1 design using a magnetic circular form namely double rotor-single stator (DRSS), double stator-triple rotor (DSTR), and double stator-triple rotor (DSTR) in the form of a magnetic circular which is then compared to the output results in the form of linkage flux, voltage, current and power. Of the 3 designs that have been tested, the DSTR design in the form of a circular magnet is a design recommendation for permanent magnet generators because it is able to produce a greater output value than the other two designs in the form of a voltage of 46.75 V, a current of 4.67 A, and output power of 271.74 W at a speed of 500 rpm and a load of 10 ohms.
