- A good level of reliability index of power plant will determine the availability of power and fill up consumer needs. In order to guarantee the availability of power, the power generation company must continue to pay attention to the reliability of the generating units. To evaluate the reliability index value, a calculation analysis method is required with high calculation accuracy. Probability method is a method for calculating reliability index, which is the Expected Energy Not supplied calculating analysis. In Steam Power Plant PT. PJB Generation Unit Gresik obtained EENS value of 2637,2 MWh/year or 2,565% / year in 2017. EENS index value has not met the standards set by National Electricity Marekt (NEM) is < 0.002% / year, based on it can be said reliability of power system at PLTU PT. UP PJB Gresik in 2017 in the category of less reliable or low power plant reliability.
