- Citrus plantin Indonesiahavendone of the most important bugs that attack the Aphids(Toxoptera sp)is. So far, the detriment of suffered indonesia’s agricultural sector due to bugs reduce agricultural productivity. The use of synthetic pesticides in the agricultural environment be a problem that makes dilemma. The use of insecticide plants is an alternative to control the insect bugs. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of fruit citrus plantand flowers Crescentia cujete Syzygium aromaticum as botanical insecticide controlling Spodoptera litura. This type of research is True Experiment Research. The results showthat the effective treatment to the insecticide is12,5%. Theresearchresults showed that the influence of organic insecticides from meniran extract on aphidsmortality(ToxopteraSp), because in meniran plants contain compounds that can kill aphids,such as: alkaloids, saponindan and tannins. Compounds in meniran plants work to attack the respiratory system. This research can be utilized as abiology.
