  • Background: A disorder of eating or called with difficulty eat often occurs in children aged 1 to 5 years wihich children usually do not want to eat, refused to eat, or find it difficult to consume food and drink. Cooperation of parents in behavior child care is really needed. It was because the cooperation and behavior when we are talking about parenting parents by the condition of children experienced difficult eat reduced so will affect the nutritional status on child. Methods: This study used cross sectional research design to technique accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using pearson product moment to know the correlation between cooperation with the parents behavior in managing the difficult to eat. Samples from 245 respondents in accordance with the criteria. Results: In this study significant results (p <0.005) means that there is a relationship between cooperation with parenting behavior in managing children having difficulty eating. This is because there are 187 means that the better the cooperation of parents, the better the parenting behavior in managing children is difficult to eat even though the highest category is the moderate category. Discussion: Collaboration between parents and parenting behavior is related to the age of early adult parents (26-35 years) and having children 1 where early adulthood parents are looking for and learning about child care and nutrition both for children and having children 1 focusing more on maintaining and giving good and right education to children.
