- Malang City is the second largest city in East Java Province. There are also many vital objects located in this city such as colleges, hospitals, offices, tourist attractions, and shops that make the flow of vehicles coming in and out of this city continue to increase every year consisting of various types of vehicles, not to mention heavy vehicle. Increasing the volume of vehicles that occur from year to year often results in very severe traffic, especially on the Singosari and Jalan Raya Lawang sections. It also certainly resulted in losses to the community of those road users, so toll roads are needed as a way to break the congestion that occurs. The pavement of toll roads that are built must be economical but still produce high quality toll roads. There are various methods of planning the toll road itself. In this plan, planning the rigid pavement thickness where there are two types of methods to be compared, namely the 2003 Bina Marga method and the 1993 AASTHO. From the calculation results with the 2003 Bina Marga method a 27 cm thick pavement with a budget of IDR. 95,438,640,000 and the 1993 AASTHO method obtained 30.5 cm pavement with a budget of IDR. 139,142,288,000.
