  • The Komodo National Park Office (KNP) as the Central Government Technical Implementation Unit (TIU) is located in the regional administration area of West Manggarai Regency. Balai TNK carries out its duties and functions in the management of conservation areas and the development of the National Strategic Tourism area. The governance process of the KNP area pays attention to management aspects based on the principles of Good Governance. Considering TNK itself as Indonesia's endemic fauna conservation which is very popular in the national and international arena, and bargaining position as a world-class priority tourism destination. The animal with the Latin name Varanus Comodoensis is also an ancient relic animal and received the title of new seven wonders. The geographical aspect of TNK itself and its region is characterized by islands so that it is very unique and a challenge for the Government and stakeholders in managerial management and implementation of work programs. So that in the pattern of management must be connected with each other between the institutions of the Central Government, Regional, Private, SOEs, and NGOs including the aspect of communication and implementation of the technical agenda. This research was carried out with the intention to examine the KNP's governance which is run by TNK's Office on the Tourism aspect. Then the pattern of connectivity between institutions and communication patterns between islands in the KNP area involved in the management process. Therefore this research was conducted using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study were the Central Government Agencies namely the Komodo National Park Office together with the Institution that became its partners. Data analysis techniques use interactive models from Miles and Huberman ranging from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. After going through the process of presenting and analyzing data it will be possible to answer the connectivity of the archipelago's characterized Komodo national park management on the conservation of native fauna of Indonesia based on the title and formulation of the problem Key words: Connectivity, KNP Governance, Conservation and National Tourism Strategic Areas
