- Ki Ageng Gribig, the access of toll lane (Malang – Pandaan), has the numbers of cracks, holes, and uneven road surface. One of the ways to avoid more damage is to add the overlay. This study discusses the overlay on Ki Ageng Gribig road, which has a length of about 2.3 km using the Component Analysis method (1987) and the AASHITO method. It might last up to 10 years and also discusses calculating the Budget Plans of the thickness of the overlay. The result showed that the thickness of the overlay using the Component Analysis method is bigger than the AASHTO method, namely 7.5 cm of 5 cm. The needs of the budget for this project using the Component Analysis method is Rp. 4.805.840.000,00, while the AASHTO method is Rp. 3.016.578.000,00.
