- The development of the rural sector is an important agenda in optimizing the tourism potential of the village, especially the village of Pujon Kidul in Malang district. Potential tourism such as Pitu waterfalls, fruit and vegetable picking tours, out bound tours and educational cattle tours are worthy to make Pujon Kidul village a successful tourist village. Tourism potential of Pujon Kidul village was formed by BUMDes as a place to realize tourism villages managed directly by the community. The obstacle in implementing the development of Pujon tourism village is the lack of motivation and awareness of the community and the low quality of community resources to carry out the development of tourism villages. To manage tourism village activities the village government forms BUMDes to optimize village assets so that they can be managed optimally for the benefit of the village community. In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique carried out observations related to the management of BUMDesa in the development of Pujon Kidul tourism village seen from the six management functions. Conducted an interview with the head of the BUMDesa management of the "prosperous source" of Pujon Kidul, the village head and the business unit both that had been incorporated and had not joined the business entity owned by the village of Pujon Kidul. This study uses the management theory of George R Terry. The management theory is the achievement of the goals set through or together the efforts of others. The results of the study through management theory, namely the first planning in the development of tourist villages issued a village regulation No. 6 of 2015 concerning the formation and management of village Pujon Kidul, both organizing realized by distributing employees or business unit managers in BUMDes, a prosperous source consisting of several units namely drinking water business unit / HIPPAM, tourism business unit, integrated waste management business unit and voucher business unit. The third implementation of development in Pujon Kidul in developing Tourism Village was carried out using community self-help through energy, but still found only in the tourism business unit sector. The four supervisions carried out by the government strongly emphasize and supervise related to the management of village services which must be managed directly by the community. The five results of development are success in improving the community's economy and increasing the original income of the village or padesa. Inhibiting the development of the tourism village of Pujon Kidul, business units are still not optimal to support the development of tourism villages and human resources that are less competent in developing tourism in the village of Pujon Kidul. It can be concluded that the tourism potential of Pujon Kidul village is of concern to Malang Regency because of its success in developing and managing the potential of the village it owns so that it can become an independent village. It is also a proof that Pujon Kidul Village has good governance in managing BUMDes.
