- The building of FEBI-UINSA Surabaya has a building plan of seven floors. In planning that building, it is constructed by using reinforced concrete structures, but in this planning uses another alternative such as composite steel structures. Although steel is a material that has a high strength and a high enough stiffness that is superior from other materials but the use of composite steel is still not widely applied. In the other hand, steel structure building has a characteristic where it is able to withstand a better earthquake burden than buildings that use reinforced concrete. The planning of this earthquake resistant building is based on SNI-1726-2012, whereas for the designing plan of steel structure is based on SNI-1729-2015 which use the method of LRFD (Load and Resistance Factor Design), so the imposition of building plan is based on SNI-03-1727-2013, and the concrete plan is based on SNI-2847-2013. The LRFD method is a method used for structural design based on the durability of the plastic strength method (Ultimate). The analysis software used Staadpro v8i. So, dimensions are obtained on a sub beam with a profile of WF 250x125x6x9, a main beam with a profile of WF 450x200x9x14 and a column with a profile of WF400x400x13x21 with a concrete dimension of 600x600 mm. For maximum deflection value in the main axis direction is 63.196 mm, while in the direction of non-main axis is 16.229 mm that still meet the safety requirements which is less than 0.0025.
