  • Moral determine the good and bad side on a person as a human. Communication from a media that contains a message that fit the context. Therefore, a lot of media give a priority to a moral message in their shows. One of the media form is a talkshow that used to distribute a message in a verbal as well as non verbal. This research criticize concerning about a moral message in a specific Indonesian talkshow “Kick Andy” in Metro TV and “Hitam Putih” in Trans7. This study was conducted using social moral from conceptual theory, educational and religious morals. Which is a reference for research so that if can be seen the frequency that appears in both talkshow. Strongthered with ecological media theory which states that people cannot escape the flow of technology. The approaches that we used in this research is quantitative approach with content analysis method. The calculations assisted by two coders to test the reliability of the categories used by resourches, conducted using holsty formula and supported by Scoot Pi indeks to measure the reliability between coders. Chi square is a comparison formula used to determine whether or not there are differences in the appearance of moral message between programs. According to the results on both talkshow programs, can be stated that these is a differences in frequency. The percentage of 29,5% consist of educational moral in Kick Andy’s program reffering to form a character and 23,2% moral message in Hitam Putih’s program refer to social moral. Trough the calculation of the chi squared distribution table with a sidnificance level of 0,05 and degree of freedon 5 was stated that the result from the calculation is 16,91%.
