- The problem that is found on the teaching learning process is the achievement of learning's result based on the subject for about 60% only at the first grade student, because the teacher still use telling methode. The first grade students have the difficulty of reading. Some students get bad result in spelling word and can not read the sentence fluently. This condition has the impact on the subject's score that is under the standard score 70. The condition of the classroom that is can not be conditioned properly and are still noisy and crowded, makes the student unable understand the material which is told by the teacher carefully. Besides the students are not concern properly, the learning media is used by the teacher is limit. in teaching learning process, the teachers have to be creative to make the students are interested in teaching learning process. Based on the background above, the author can identify the purpose of this research as follow: 1. Describing the implementation of alphabet and picture of flash card to enhance the first grade student's reading ability at SD Negeri Landungsari II Malang. 2. Describing the improvement of the first grade student's reading ability after using the implementation of alphabet and picture of flash card SD Negeri Landungsari II Malang. The kind of this research is classroom action research that was held in two cycles. Every cycle was held twice, which is consists of four steps, that are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is 13 students of the first grade student at SD Negeri Landungsari II Malang. The tecnique of collecting the data is including observation, test, documentation, and field notes. The technique of analysis the data are qualitative and quantitave, that are reduction of the data, earlysentation, and making conclusion. Based on the recapilutation of data, the student learning activities can be seen that there is an enhancement in early reading learning. The enhancement occurs on every steps of learning process. The result of improving this ability from the first cycle to the second cycles is 19%. At the early reading, at the first cycle, the students who have complete score are ten students from thirteen students. At the second cycle, the students who have complete score is thirteen students. This condition shows there is the enhancement in learning process. In this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of alphabet and picture of flash card can enhance the teachers activities, the students activities, and the result of learning in Bahasa Indonesia subject.
