- Waste is the results of human activities or natural processes that are no longer used. Its existence will increase along with the total of population and socio-economic condition in one city. Therefore, the discussion about landfill in the future is very crucial. Moreover, the existence of heavy equipment is crucial too in waste management. The first stage of this study is to survey the land by collecting the waste in 48 locations, 4 districts. The survey records the existing data of landfill, such as waste volume, the number of heavy equipment used in waste management, etc. The next stage is, after collecting the data, to analyze the data about waste total per person, volume, land requirement, heavy equipment productivity, and operating costs for the equipment. According to calculation analysis, the waste yields 0.372 kg/person/day. The waste volume is about 303,347.578 tons; the land requirement is 3.033 hectares; excavator productivity is 283.86 m3/day; bulldozer productivity is 285.18 m3/day; and the operating costs for excavator and bulldozer are Rp. 1.437.618/day and Rp. 1.430.644/day respectively in upcoming year of 2028.
