  • Ischemic Stroke is caused by the blockage of blood vessels by thromboembolic (clogged blood vessels by blood clots) which results an ischemic under the blockage areas. Clopidogrel in a dose of 75 mg shows the speed of oral absorption, significantly inhibits platelet aggregation (40-60%). Objective: To determine Clopidogrel use pattern in ischemic stroke patients associated with laboratory and clinical data. Methods: Observational-retrospective study with data collection from medical records of ischemic stroke patients for the period of 1st January 2018 – 31st of January 2019. Result and Conclusion: The pattern of single Clopidogrel use was 13 patients (86.7%), and the pattern of combination Clopidogrel use was 2 patients (13.3%). The most common pattern of Clopidogrel use was clopidogrel (1x75 mg) po, which was in all patients (15 patients). The pattern of using Clopidogrel combination was the most used is 2 patients, namely Clopidogrel (1x75 mg) po + Cilostazol (2x50 mg) po (1 patients 50 %) and Clopidogrel (1x75 mg) + Acetylsalicylic acid (1x300 mg) po (1 patiens 50 %). The most common pattern of switch use was single to single Clopidogrel (1x75 mg / 2x75 mg / 3x75 mg) po  Clopidogrel (2x75 mg / 1x75 mg) po  Clopidogrel (1x75 mg / 3x75 mg) po in 3 patients (60%).
