- Increase in the spread of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes has increased annually to the year. The spread of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes is caused by the use of chemical larvacids used in the long term causing mosquitoes to be resistant to the chemical substances so that the number of spread is increasing. Papaya leaves have long utilized the community as a traditional medicine that can cure a wide range of diseases because of the content of flavonoids, saponin, alkoloid Carpain and Papain but the community does not know papaya leaves have a bitter taste Can be used as a natural larvacide. The use of natural larvacide of papaya leaves is safe and has no side effects so it does not cause resistance to mosquitoes as well as pollution in the environment. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of temperature extraction and the concentration of papaya leaf extract against the death of Aedes aegypti larvae as a source of biological learning. This type of research is True Experimental research with a research design That Is factorial design with 2 factors namely extraction temperature and various concentrations. The study was conducted 2 times with 16 treatments. In the treatment of temperature control combined with the control treatment, concentrations of 1%, 1.5% and 2%. At 50 °c temperature treatment combined with control treatment, concentration of 1%, 1.5% and 2%. At 60 °c temperature treatment combined with control treatment, concentration 1%, 1.5% and 2%. 70 °c temperature treatment combined with control treatment, concentration 1%, 1.5% and 2%. The resulting Data is the average number of deaths and the percentage of death of Aedes aegyptilarvae. The data analysis technique conducted was test Two Ways Anova and test Duncan. The results showed the influence of temperature difference extraction had no significant effect, but the temperature difference of extraction and concentration difference had a significant influence. The most effective extraction and concentration temperature is at the extraction temperature of 50 °c with a concentration of 2% on average the death of Aedes aegypti larvae 1 and the percentage of Death Of Aedes aegypti larvae from 100%. The results of this research can be used as a source of learning of biology Handout.
