- Bridge is one of essential infrastructures and plays an important role in connecting between two areas. In the process of bridge construction, there are a lot of things that should be concerned, starting from materials, budget, and any other aspect. The materials used in building bridge construction are concrete, wood, steel, and cold formed steel. The purpose of the study was to examine the planning of bridge connector model and pedestrian bridge of cold formed steel ‘Tudang Sipulung’ in the 14th Indonesian Bridge Competition. The bridge was planned by means of deck type truss model with the length and width 4.3 meters and 0.9 meters respectively. The loading was conducted in the middle of landforms with the weight 400 kg. Since the data were analyzed by using StaadPro V8i, the maximum deflection of cold formed steel bridge is 1.557 mm with the total weight 79.474 kg. According to the field notes, the maximum deflection of cold formed steel bridge is 2.01 mm with the total weight 80.00 kg. The maximum permitted deflection is 15 mm.
