Hubungan Antara Kepatuhan Mengkonsumsi Tablet Fe dengan Kejadian Anemia Pada Ibu Hamil (Studi di Puskesmas Dinoyo, Malang)

- Introduction :Nausea and vomiting (Morning Sickness) in pregnancy is a frequent thing, up to 80% of all pregnant women experience complaints of nausea and vomiting during their pregnancy. Based on the profile of the Malang city health office, the highest anemia survey was in the poor Dinoyo Health Center. Based on preliminary studies conducted by researchers by visiting patients homes on 10 mothers who had given birth with a history of anemia who resided around the Dinoyo Malang Health Center. The results obtained were 7 mothers who stated that they did noy comply with taking tablet Fe with the reason that 3 people said they were lazy because 2 people said because of the feeling of discomfort 2 people stated because they often forgot or nothing reminded. In addition, from 10 mothers 6 people gave birth to premature with BBLR <2kg, 2 people gave birth with a deceased fetus and 2 people gave birth normally from 312 pregnant women who went to the Dinoyo Health Center. It was found that 31 people had anemia. Research Methods :In this study using descriptive analytic research design with cross sectional approach. The study population was pregnant women with a history of anemia in the PuskesmasDinoyo Malang with a sample of 31 pregnant women selected by purposive sampling. The data obtained were analyzed using Chi Square test. Result :The result of the analysis of Chi Square test data generally obtained insignificant results (p>0.05) so that it can be interpreted that there is no relationship between compliance with taking tablet fe with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Discuss :This studi shows that in the compliance category consuming the most fe tablets is respondents with disobedient behavior consuming fe tablets. There is no correlation between compliance with consuming tablet fe and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. The background of most pregnant women is less compliant to consume fe tablets because of the unpleasant taste and aroma of the tablet which makes the mother feel nausea and vomiting. It is expected for the future research to deepen data mining related to compliance interventions in consuming fe tablets in pregnant women with anemia.
