  • ABSTRACT Photovoltaics (PV) is a renewable energy that has weather-dependent efficiency, PV temperature modules and solar irradiation. The problem caused by the use of PV is the output power of PV which often does not reach the actual maximum power released by PV. Therefore needs a method to find and optimize power output from PV that is MPPT system, where the system consists of a DC-DC converter and MPPT tracking algorithm. There are several converters that is BUCK and BOOST converters are converters that can only reduce or increase the voltage BUCK BOOST and CUK converters can increase and decrease voltage but polarity of the output and input voltage are reverse. ZETA converter can operate in the condition of continuous conduction mode (CCM) giving the lowest ripples in the output voltage and current. MPPT algorithms that are often applied are Perturb and Observe (P & O), Incremental Conductance (INC), modified P & O and modified INC to maximize PV output to constant. In this study presents a comparison of ZETA converters for MPPT using the P & O, INC, modified P & O and modified INC algorithm in PV
