  • Based on the needs analysis that was conducted on January 10, 2019 with Mr. Kukuh Prayogi, S. Pd, as the Physical Education teacher in SDN 1 Ngantru Trenggalek, it found that at the school the facilities and infrastructure were lack especially in learning, as evidenced by the delivery of only three locomotor motion material (walking, running, jumping) that has not been packaged in a traditional game. This study aimed to: (1) Describe the development of Gelora Sodor game products in Ngantru Trenggalek 1 Elementary School, (2) Find out the effectiveness of Gelora Sodor game products in SDN 1 Ngantru Trenggalek. The types of research were research and development. The data sources were two validators consisting of media experts and material experts. Validation was carried out on March 20 and 21 2019. Other data sources were Physical Education teacher and students in grades 3 A and 3 B at SDN 1 Ngantru Trenggalek, Trenggalek 2019/2020 school year, total of 20 students. Implementation carried out on March 27, 2019, carried out by retrieving data on responses of teachers and students as well as data on learning outcomes. The results of the study showed (1) The development research produced a product in the form of Gelora Sodor game teaching material in the subject matter of the basic locomotor (2) Media development consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. (3) The results of the media expert validation got a score of 93.3% and the results of the validation from the material expert got 89.0%. This showed that the teaching material for the Gelora Sodor game is very worthy or valid to be used in learning. (5) Teaching materials for the Gelora Sodor game received a positive response from teachers and students, each of whom received 100%. This shown the teaching material for the Gelora Sodor game is very worthy or very practical to be used in learning. (6) The results of the implementation showed that classical completeness reaches 100%. This shown the teaching material for the Gelora Sodor game is effective to be used in the learning process.
